Nigeria has recorded 420 new COVID-19 cases from 13 states on Tuesday.
Data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that eight people have died from the infection between Sunday and Monday.
On January 9, a total of 3,077 deaths were recorded in the country and by January 10, the total number of COVID-19 deaths had risen to 3,085.
The centre said till date, 24, 8732 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, out of which 219,479 persons have been discharged.
3, 085 deaths have been recorded across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
NCDC disclosed that a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC) activated at level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
