In its daily report of the status of coronavirus in the country, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that a total of 779 coronavirus cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
The report stated that Lagos, Rivers, FCT, carry the bulk of the day's case load, with each state and the Federal Capital Territory recording 285, 68, and 60 cases respectively.
The new figure brings the total number of cases in the country up to 24,077, with a total of 558 deaths, and 8,625 recoveries.
