In its bid to change the face of sporting activities in Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde 'is committed in making sure that Shooting Stars Football Club gets back its lost glory'.
AllNews reports that this was disclosed on Monday through the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Seun Fakorede, during a meeting with the management of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), which was held in its premises.
According to the Governor, the new technology will enable both the Television and Radio stations of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State to broadcast 3SC football matches live, adding that the opportunity would also be extended to about 52 other countries across the world since the club is known globally.
Earlier in his address, the chairman of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, Prince Dotun Oyelade said they were putting all their best efforts forward, in order to see that the new arrangement works out; while he made it known that a committee will be set up to see to the effect.

He advised the Commissioner to continue with the way he started and not to derail from the good plans he has for the football clubs and youth in the state generally.
Amongst those who attended the meeting include; the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Oludele Oyadeyi; Special Assistant on Sports Development, Oyewumi Oluwatobi; Director, Sports Administration, Mrs Olubisi Adegoke; Director of News and Current Affairs, Mrs Adedotun Adeola; amongst others.
