Nigeria vs Ghana: FG Instructs Public Offices Closure Early�

The Federal Government has instructed the closure of public offices by 1 pm to mobilise support for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they face the Black Stars of Ghana for the World Cup second leg layoffs.

The circular was distributed on Monday and sent to the head of services.

According to the circular, “As you are aware, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will be meeting the Black Stars of Ghana in continuation of the 2022 FIFA World-Cup Qualifier, Playoff. (Return Leg).

“There is a need to mobilise support for the Nigerian Team. Consequently, I am directed to inform you that all offices will be closed at 1.00 pm on Tuesday, 29th March 2022

“Permanent Secretaries are requested to give this circular wide publicity to achieve the desired result.”

In addition to the early closure of public offices, the Ministry of Sports in collaboration with the NFF has also made 20,000 tickets available for free.

Should the Super Eagles win, it would mark their seventh appearance at the FIFA World Cup.
