The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) have lost to All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the polling unit of president Muhammadu Buhari.
The candidates lost to Tinubu who scored a total of 523 votes at the polling unit in Daura, hometown of the president.
The duo scored zero while the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, scored 3 votes.
President Buhari voted earlier around 10:05 a.m in the polling unit.
Speaking shortly after casting his vote, he said: “I am happy about what is happening.
"In Nasarawa, Katasina, Sokoto and all the places we campaigned, I mentioned my favourite candidate and I hope my constituency will support my candidate.”
