The Oyo State Road Transport Maintenance Agency OYRTMA on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, received Operational Power Bikes from the Nigerian Breweries Plc. as part of the Company’s social corporative responsibility initiative.

Receiving the surveillance bikes at the agency’s Secretariat, OYRTMA’s Executive Chairman, Dr. Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, expressed appreciation to the donor, adding that the gesture was a result of the uncommon achievement of the agency and the impactful administration of Governor Makinde in ensuring free flow of human and vehicular traffic in some parts of the state.

In his words: “On behalf of His Excellency, Governor Makinde, we want to thank and appreciate them and we believe that this will extend to the state where we will be able to decongest the traffic as it were. So, I think this is a positive achievement for us again and to the government of Governor Makinde.”

The Oyo state transport boss revealed that the progressive drive of Engineer Seyi Makinde through the creation of a business-friendly atmosphere in the state has endeared organizations to willingly collaborate with the agency and other state organizations.

He said: “It takes goodwill for organizations to appreciate you. So, I think the secret is not far-fetched. It is because of the positive drive of the governor towards industrialization in the state and the support we have received from the governor has really helped us in relating with corporate organizations and performing our duties in line with our mandates. So, with such, we are ready to work together with organizations and people and that is why you can see the support we are getting now, which is a plus to this government.”

“We believe very strongly that we still have the opportunity of getting great support and we assure the people that with this support we are having, we are going to be more committed to the duties and responsibilities given to us by the agency to do the needful, which is traffic management, and rescue operation for accident victims.”
