    The Nigerian Navy has debunked stories making the rounds that one of its officers OSCOMP AbdulGafar AA has gone missing.

    A statement signed by Commodore Suleman Dahun for the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo said the officer, who is a comedian was not missing but in custody for breaching the Armed Forces’ social media policy and refusal to obey particular orders.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    The statement added that the social media policies are in place for some reasons, some of which include protecting the personnel themselves as well as the integrity of the activities of the Armed forces of Nigeria.
