Binance Coin (BNB) is now the third most valuable cryptocurrency in the world after it surged more than 100% in the last seven days. The total market cap of BNB crossed $40 billion today, more than Tether (USDT) at $33 billion according to data from coinmarketcap.com.

2. N-Power: Nigerian Govt Engages 5,000 Consultants For Famed Scheme, Other NSIPs

The Nigerian government has engaged 5,000 independent monitors (consultants) to verify the disbursement running into billions of Naira made to citizens under the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP).

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed on Friday said Nigerians don't need the permission of Governor Romiti Akeredolu or any other governor to reside anywhere in the country.

9. My Leg May be Amputated If not Granted Bail — Abdul Rasheed Maina

Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of defunct Pension Reforms Task Team (PRTT), on Friday, told the Federal High Court, Abuja, that his leg might be amputated if he is not released on bail to have adequate medical care.

Maina, through his Counsel, Sani Katu, SAN, tabled the matter to Justice Okon Abang at the resumed trial. Katu said his client was taken to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, because of his worsening health condition and the medical report was exhibited in the bail application. 10. Sheikh Gumi Asks FG To Give Bandits ‘Blanket Amnesty’

Popular Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Gumi, has asked the Federal Government to grant ‘blanket amnesty’ to bandits willing to make peace if the current security situation must be tackled. 

The Islamic scholar said this on Friday while addressing journalists in Minna, the Niger State capital. The cleric made this known after he visited the camps of some bandits operating in Niger State.
