2. With $27m Dry Port, We Will Favourably Compete With Lagos — Kano

Alhaji Ahmed Rabiu, Managing Director, Dala Inland Dry Port in Kano State says the project will cost 27 million dollars.

Conducting an inspection of the project located at Zawaciki, in Kumbotso Local Government Area of the state, Rabiu, said the first would be completed by June at a cost 17 million dollars. Read more here.

3. Army Trains 65 Wounded Soldiers On Computer, CCTV operation

The Nigerian Army on Friday graduated 67 soldiers wounded on the frontline in the North East, who were trained on computer and CCTV operation.

4. Jubilation As Sanwo-Olu Inaugurates Agege Flyover, Names Road After Tinubu

Residents, market unions, youth groups and various cultural groups on Friday took to the streets of Agege to celebrate the inauguration of the Agege Flyover.

5. Handball Rule Changes By July 1st 2021 — IFAB

The International Football Association Board (IFAB) has decided to change the handball rule and the new rule will be effective from July 1.

6. NSE Index: Trades Reach N13.6 Trillion On Close Of Weekly Market

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market closed with 4,895.00 deals on Friday, March 5th, 2021, lower than the 5,486.00  deals on Thursday, March 4th, 2021. The volume reached 587,742,048.00 units at the close of the market on Friday higher than the 493,172,597.00 units it closed with on Thursday.

The value of trades recorded on Friday was N13,615,384,435.42 with the All-Share Index of 39,331.61 a decrease of -0.08% (-33.06) over Thursday's value of 39,364.67. Read more here.

Nigerian DJ and singer DJ Cuppy has been offered admission at Oxford University in England for a Master's Degree.

The Economic Community of West Africa has released a statement indicating that there are vacancies at the office in Abuja for several positions for Nigerians to apply through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
