1. Nnamdi Kanu Accuses Four Nigerian Newspapers Of Being 'Paid To Attack IPOB'

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has claimed that his outlawed group has "many enemies".

Kanu, a Biafra political activist, during his routine broadcast last Sunday lambasted Vanguard, The Punch, The Nation, and The Sun Newspapers, accusing them of trying to paint his activities in a bad light. Read more here.

2. US Executes Lisa Montgomery, First Female In 68 Years

The only woman on federal death row in the United States, Lisa Montgomery has been executed by lethal injection. The execution took place at a prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, after a last-minute stay of execution, was lifted by the Supreme Court.

Her execution made her the first female inmate to be put to death by the US government since 1953 and is the 11th execution since the Trump administration resumed use of federal capital punishment in July after a 17-year hiatus. Read more here.

3. Primate Ayodele Releases Prophecy On Ekiti 2022 Election

Primate Ayodele has released fresh prophecies ahead of the 2022 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State.

The leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Ayodele said the only way the People Democratic Party (PDP) can be victorious is by choosing Segun Oni as its candidate for the election. Read more here.

4. Davido Is Missing His Mum And He May Sing For Her Soon

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name 'Davido', has shared an old letter he wrote to his mother, Veronica Adeleke, after she passed away.

In the letter which he shared via his Twitter account, the 'Fia' crooner described his mother as sweet, expressing how much he missed her. Read more here.

5. VIDEO: Cossy Orjiakor Vibes To Odumeje's Song

Nigerian video vixen, Cossy Orjiakor could be seen vibing to 'Umu Jesus Christ', a song by Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias Odumeje ‘The Lion', founder of Holy Ghost Intervention Church.

7. Again, Instagram Deletes Tunde Ednut's Account

For the second time in three weeks, the Instagram account of Nigerian musician and entertainer, Tunde Ednut has been deleted. The account was deleted three barely days after it hit 1million followers.  

The controversial social media personality lost his Instagram page on issues bothering on repeated community standard violations. It is being speculated that the Nigerian entertainer’s new account got suspended because he’s still facing either a 6-month or 1-year ban from the social networking platform. Read more here.

8. Uganda Election: Bobi Wine’s Private Guards Withdraw Services

Ugandan Presidential Candidate under the platform of National Unity Platform (NUP) Kyagulanyi Sentamu Robert, better known as Bobi Wine on Wednesday said the private security company that has been guarding his home for the past 12 years has withdrawn its services.

Wine who made this known via its official Twitter handle said the guards stationed at his house were disarmed by their supervisors who said they were acting based on instructions. Read more here.

9. 2023 Presidency: We Are Yet To Decide On Zoning - PDP

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kola Ologbodiyan has revealed that the party is yet to decide on zoning ahead of the 2023 Presidential Election.

Stating this while on the Arise TV Morning Show, Ologbodiyan said that the party will take its decision on Zoning after internal consultations. Read more here.

10. NECO Releases 2020 Results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the internal Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE) results with a two percent rise of candidates who made five credits and above in all subjects.
