One of the umbrella bodies of the herdsmen in Nigeria, the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has said that the Southwest Governors are hurting the rumoured 2023 presidential ambition of the All-Progressives Congress Stalwart, Bola Tinubu, with their anti-herdsmen stance.

The United Niger Delta Energy Development Security Strategy (UNDEDSS) says Asari-Dokubo; Nnamdi Kanu; his outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) group; the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB); and their likes, cannot claim to be speaking for the South South region of Nigeria.

Tony Uranta, UNDEDSS Executive Secretary, in a statement on Wednesday in Lagos said that the Niger-Delta had not taken position on the ongoing Biafran agitations by various secessionist movements. Read more here.

3. Peruzzi Drops New Single 'Somebody Baby' Ft. Davido [VIDEO + Lyrics]

Nigerian songwriter and performing artiste, Peruzzi, comes through again with a sizzling single titled 'Somebody Baby' produced by DMW's in-house producer, Fresh VDM.

The song serves as a lead track off Peruzzi's second studio album 'Rum and Boogie'. The 'Majesty' crooner teamed up with his label boss, Davido, to deliver the track which was produced by DMW producer Fresh VDM. Read more here.

4. Nigeria Records Nationwide Hike In Transport Fares - NBS

The Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Wednesday gave its monthly transport fare watch, showing that there was an overall increase in the cost of transportation in the nation for the month of February.

According to the report, the average fare paid by commuters for bus journeys within their cities increased by 2.60 percent month-on-month to N361.31 in February 2021 from N352.15, a 78.08% year-on-year change. Read more here.

5. UTME 2021: JAMB Finally Set Time for Sales of Form, Registration, Exam Dates [See Full Details]

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2021 and Direct Entry (DE) application documents will be on sale from April 8.

6. Microsoft Introduces Live transcription For Teams Using ‘Cutting Edge AI’

Microsoft has rolled out its new AI-powered live transcription service in Microsoft teams answering Zoom’s recent expansion of its own live transcription feature.

Live transcription functionality has remained a fierce competition in the video-meeting market. In December, Cisco announced its closed captioning service for Webex, Zoom last month brought live transcription to free accounts. Albeit in a limited manner, Google also introduced live caption to chrome and now Microsoft is offering live transcription in Teams. Read more here.

The Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has distanced himself from a trending statement that angry Yoruba youths would invade the palace of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.

In a video now viral on social media, one Olayomi Koiki, who is known as the spokesperson of Igboho, threatened that Oduduwa agitators would soon attack the monarch in his palace and other traditional rulers who do not support their agitation. Read more here.

Funke Lagoke, a Nigerian-born contestant on the American Idol show, collapsed as the judges disclosed her future on the singing competition series.
