Biafra political activist and leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has said that he stopped siding former National Publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, because he fears he might - like Orji Uzor Kalu, the Governor of Abia State - start campaigning for One Nigeria, AllNews reports.

A foremost youth leader in Kano State, Mustapha Kabir Soron Dinki has asserted that it is "pathetic" that the Nigerian government can exit N-Power beneficiaries without giving them any package nor transiting them into entrepreneurial programme, AllNews reports.

The Leadership of the National Assembly has urged the Nigerian youths to bring the #ENDSARS protest to an end.

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, said “the risks of reopening nightclubs and bars are still high hence, their continued ban”.

The boss of the Lagos State Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, has said that he had no hands in the attack of the protesters at Alausa by armed thugs.

United States economist, Steve Hanke, has countered President Muhammadu Buhari's inflation rate projection for next year. Hanke said Nigeria's inflation rate will actually be triple of what President Buhari disclosed while submitting and addressing the 2021 budget at the National Assembly last week.
