The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Farouq has been criticised for using a jet to fly over Kainji Dam after the water bank was flooded. Farouq was condemned by Nigerians and was told that she's wasting public funds when some N-Power beneficiaries haven't been paid.

A magistrate court in Osogbo on Thursday granted bail to popular Nigerian pornstar, Tobiloba Jolaoso, widely known as Kingtblakhoc, and his film crew who were at the start of this week arrested for shooting a pornographic movie at the Sacred Osun Grove in Osun State, South-West Nigeria.
Kingtblakhoc was on Monday initially arraigned at a court in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on the grounds of recording a contentious video titled, 'The Lost Cameroon LaDiva' at the Osun Osogbo Shrine in July 2020. Read more here.
