1. Lekki Massacre: Tinubu's Son Says Sanwo-Olu Made Curfew Request To Switch Off Billboard

LoatSAD Promomedia has revealed that it turned the billboards off at Lekki Tollgate on instruction of the Lagos State government. The advertising agency, which owns most of the billboards in the area, said it didn't know the reason was for soldiers to shoot peaceful protesters.

AllNews had reported that billboards, street light and CCTV at the Lekki tollgate were all turned off in the evening, after which Soldiers arrived the area, and opened fire on ENDSARS protesters who have been camping there for days - the attack is now known as Lekki Massacre. Read more here.

2.  Buhari Shuns Another Opportunity To Address Nigeria On Lekki Massacre At Weekly FEC Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari has refused to comment on the Lekki Massacre of peaceful #ENDSARS protesters as he presides over the Federal Executive Council Meeting on Wednesday.

Buhari who has been advised by notable Nigerians to address the country on the Tuesday massacre at Lekki that saw men of the Nigerian army opening fire on Peaceful protesters failed to heed to the advice as he kept mum at another opportunity he had to address the country. Read more here.

3. Jail Break: Obaseki Warns All Escapee Inmates To Return Or Face Full Wrath Of Law

The executive Governor of Edo State Godwin Obaseki has given all inmates that escaped from the Benin Correctional Centre, Sapele road and Oko Medium centre until Friday to return back to the centres.

Obaseki who gave this warning during his visit to the correctional centres and other government institutions in the state said that escapee inmates who refuse to return before Friday will face the full wrath of the law. Read more here.

4. Shooting By Military At Lekki Protesters Planned, Coordinated - UN

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, described the shooting by security forces at the Lekki toll gate as "premeditated, planned and coordinated."

Bachelet posited that the replacement of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) with the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) would do nothing to "prevent future violations". Read more here.

5. No One In Their Right Frame Of Mind Can Explain Buhari's Silence - Kukah

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah, amplified the thoughts of many Nigerians who continue to ask why President Muhammadu Buhari has remained silent throughout the #EndSARS crisis, stating that no one in his right mind can provide a reason as to why the president has remained silent.

Kukah said this in an interview with Channels Television on Wednesday, saying that he felt "totally helpless." Read more here.

6. Ogun State Gov. Orders Closure Of Schools, Suspends Okada Operations

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, during a press conference on Tuesday night in Abeokuta, ordered the closure of all schools till October 26 as #EndSARS protest becomes violent.

He also ordered the suspension of ‘Okada’ operations for Wednesday in the first instance. Read more here.

7. Lekki Tollgate Set On Fire Following Killings Of ENDSARS Protesters By Soldiers

The Lekki tollgate has been set on fire following attack by Soldiers on ENDSARS protesters at the tollgate this night. The soldiers had opened fire at the peaceful protesters this night, leading to at least two deaths among the protesters, with some injured.

Before the shooting, the operators of the Lekki Tollgate, Lekki Concession Company Limited (LCC), had taken down the camera, after which lights in the area were turned off by the management of the street lights. Read more here.

8. #EndSars: 'They Have To Kill Us All', Paul Okoye Announces Convergence At Lekki Tollgate

Singer and member of defunct Psquare music group, Paul Okoye has bemoaned the gunfire opened to disperse #EndSars protesters at the Lekki tollgate area of Lagos state.

AllNews earlier reported that there were outcries in the streets of social media after the protesters at the Lekki tollgate came under heavy gunfire, shortly after Sanwo-Olu announced a 24-hour curfew, due to perceived violence. Read more here.

Nigerian rapper Michael Ugochukwu better known as Ruggedman has laid curses on any entertainer that will be gracing any political functions.

10. #LekkiMassacre: Hillary Clinton Calls On Buhari To Stop Killing Protesters

Former United States Presidential candidate and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian Army to stop killing youths protesting against police brutality.

She made the call on Tuesday night, via her verified Twitter handle, after armed soldiers fired live bullets and fireworks where thousands of protesters were gathered at Lekki toll gate in Lagos. Read more here.
