Nigerian Soldiers Kill 11 ISWAP Terrorists

Eleven members of the Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP) have been killed in a confrontation with Nigerian soldiers in the Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State, reports say.

It is claimed that soldiers are currently ensuring that serenity returns to the Borno community as the ISWAP terrorists have taken to the streets, disturbing the peace of the state.

and also, it is noteworthy to know that the ISWAP terrorists last week killed a Amry General and 3 Soldiers in Maiduguri.

The ISWAP terrorists had last week killed a Brigadier General and three other soldiers in Maiduguri. They attacked the Damboa Super Camp of the Nigerian Army arriving with heavy heavy gun trucks, said the acting General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Brig.-Gen. Abdulwahab Eyitayo.

Eyitayo said that total peace has been restored in the town. He also assured Nigerians that the Air Task Force has gone after the other terrorists that fled during the confrontations.
