Nigerians Express Shock As Davido's Aide Obama DMW Dies of Suspected Heart Failure

Nigerians were thrown into sober disbelief on Tuesday after Obama, a close associate of popular musician Davido died of a suspected heart failure.

Online reports about Obama's death were confirmed by talent manager Sososoberekon, Tunde Ednut, Peruzzi, and other 30BG members as they mourned one of their own.

Real name Habeeb Uthman, Obama DMW is a known affiliate of Davido and has been regularly around him since 2017.

On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, Obama drove himself to Ever Care Hospital in Lekki to complain of breathing difficulties. He was admitted to the hospital and unfortunately died a few hours later.

Aside from always hanging around Davido, Obama DMW was also a music executive cum artistes manager and founded his music label Obama Music Worldwide (OMW).

Taking to his Instagram page, talent manager Sososoberekon shared a photo with Obama who was whispering something into his ears. In the caption that accompanied the post, Sososoberekon called the late crew member a realist.

The tragedy comes less than a year after Davido also lost Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan, his bodyguard of 11 years better known as TJ.

30BG singer Perruzi also reacted via a post on his Instagram Stories saying: “Lord have mercy.”
