Some Nigerians on Twitter have bashed controversial singer Naira Marley and former BBNaija housemate, Kimoprah, for allegedly flouting COVID-19 rules at a drive-in concert.
AllNews reports that Naira Marley had performed at the concert organized by Play Network Africa, Traffic Bar, El'Carnival and sponsored by Glenfiddich.
A clip of Naira Marley and Kimoprah arriving Abuja for the concert was shared on the singer’s page, despite embargo on flights.
The ‘drive-in’ party, concert held at Silverbird Entertainment Centre was reportedly under control until fun-seekers flooded the venue in groups, thereby defying the social distancing rules to contain the spread of COVID-19.
In some of the clips seen on micro-blogging platform Twitter, the singer was seem performing in front of a large crowd.
Some Twitter users tagged the singer and the drive-in attendees “Covidiots” for flouting the COVID-19 orders.

You have the gut even as a lady to risk police arrest / assault in the dead of the night to attend Naira Marley concert in Abuja, but see no reason to carry a placard in the day to protest for good governance.

I know Naira Marley stays in Lagos and not Abuja. How did he fly to Abuja when there’s still a travel ban in Nigeria?

Thought it's just Naira Marley that's making Abuja hot. Don't even know that Aisha Buhari is busy making Aso Rock hotter.

We can’t have 2 separate rules in Nigeria. One for Funke Akindele & another for Naira Marley & the Politicians.
