Nigerians React To Document Showing Buhari Purchased N1.4 Billion Vehicles For Niger Republic

Nigerians have taken to the social media platform Twitter to react to President Muhammadu Buhari's approval of the sum of N1.4 billion to purchase vehicles for the government of Niger Republic.

A budget office document shared online by investigative journalist David Hundeyin shows that President Buhari approved the funds for the purchase of 10 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 vehicles.

The approval is contained on page 83 of the document and dated 28/02/2022. The paperwork also reveals the account name and number to which the money was paid into.

AllNews Nigeria reports that the budget has generated outrage from Nigerians on Twitter who have shared their reactions online as seen below.
