The news of the Super Eagles training session in Abuja marred by a power outage has attracted reactions from Nigerian fans from all walks of life ahead of their AFCON qualifying match against the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau.
Expectedly, supporters of the Nigeria men's national team were irked that the Eagles had to abandon Tuesday's session because the main bowl of the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja was covered in total darkness.
The fans took to social media to vent their pent-up frustration, describing the incident as shameful, pathetic and sad.
Some even went as far as attributing what transpired in Abuja to the leadership failure that has bedevilled the country over the years.
Here are some of the reactions gathered by AllNews Nigeria:
Sad to hear the Super Eagles could not complete their training tonight because the light didn't come on at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
We play against Guinea Bissau in an #AFCON2023 Qualifier on Friday by 5PM.
