Nine Injured In Ogun Road Crash

A truck loaded with goods has caused chaos along Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos State

Nine persons have been reported injured in a multiple road crash at Olorunsogo village, Ogun State.

The two vehicles that were involved in the crash according to eyewitnesses are a Silver coloured Toyota Avensia with registration number FFF93LY and a yellow-coloured Mack tow truck with no registration number.

Police preliminary investigation stated that the accident occurred as a result of overspeeding on the part of the driver of the Toyota Avensis.

They stated that this made him run into the rear of a moving tow truck conveying a Caterpillar.

The number of occupants in the Toyota Avensis was 12, comprising nine male adults and three female adults.

All three female adults were injured while six males were injured.

The injured were taken to General Hospital, Owode, General Hospital, Ijaiye, and Idera Hospital, Sagamu for medical attention.
