Niyi Akinmolayan Advises Netflix, Amazon On Content Nigerian Women Love

Popular Nigerian Filmmaker and director Niyi Akinmolayan has given his two cents to streaming giants Amazon and Netflix on ways to get Nigerian women to become hooked on their services.

The veteran filmmaker is of the opinion that crime thrillers are a natural allure to women.

Although he doesn't seem to know why this is so yet, he teased Amazon and Netflix to make original content to meet these wild interests.

"If Netflix and Amazon really want to catch Nigerian women, they should make true crime originals based on real stories.

"They won’t run out of content and their subscription will shoot through the roof. Nigerian women love watching scary crime stories based on real events lol", he shared.

Quite a lot of women have come under this post to agree with his observation while wondering why they are subconsciously drawn to those kinds of movies.

With this little test, we believe it's safe to say if any one of these streaming giants decides to test the waters, it could be a resounding success.
