NLC Lauds Appointment Of New Kano Head Of Service

Kano State Council of the Nigeria Labor Congress, (NLC), says the appointment of Alhaji Usman Bala as the new head of service for the state by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is well deserved.

In a statement, jointly signed by the Chairman of the council, Comrade Dr Kabiru Ado Minjibir and Secretary-General, Comrade Hussaini Budah, expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the entire workers of the state.

“On behalf of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Kano State Council and the entire workers and their Unions, we wish to express and convey our heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Kano State Head of Service,
Alhaji Usman Bala and other newly appointed Permanent Secretaries by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.”

Congress said” it is proud to be associated with this meritorious development. The new Head of Service, as a career, the progressive and accomplished position of Permanent Secretary, his choice to head the exalted office of the Head of Civil Service of the most populous state in Nigeria did not come to the Kano Labour family as a surprise, taking into consideration his antecedents as a labour-friendly public servant.”
It expressed optimism that the appointment would strengthen the state’s workforce.

” We are optimistic that as an Alumni of the prestigious National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, will bring his wealth of experience, professionalism and morality to bear in the onerous task of managing a large workforce of a State like Kano.”

The Congress also stated its readiness to work together with the new Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries appointed by the Kano State Governor.
