The union said that the picketing was as a result of an alleged anti-labour matter.
The NLC had accused the CAC management of clamping down on union members for challenging the anti-workers policies.

On the other hand, the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the NLC were divided on the issue, and this had resulted in a clash between members of the two unions.
On Tuesday, the TUC held a news conference, warning that they will resist the picketing by the Nigeria Labour Congress, but the NLC said it planned to picket the CAC for three days and no going back.
