Nnamdi Kanu's Counsel Issues 'Legal Notice' To Igbo Group

Nnamdi Kanu's Counsel Issues 'Legal Notice' To Igbo Group

Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Biafra political activist, Nnamdi Kanu, and the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has claimed that the Coalition of South East Professionals’ Network in Nigeria and Diaspora (CSEPNND) is 'fake and fraud'.

Ejimakor via his known Twitter handle on Monday said that the group is nonexistent.

Recall that the group had written an open letter to the Nigerian government, urging it to immediately write the Governments of the United Kingdom (UK) and Israel, requesting for extradition of Kanu, to face the law over his involvement in alleged treasonable felony.

The group whose request was contained in an open letter dated Saturday, January 8th, 2021, and addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari, explained that its action was predicated on 'Kanu’s ceaseless treasonable activities'.

But reacting to the CSEPNND's stance, the legal practitioner slammed the Igbo group.

Also recall that IPOB, through its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, on Sunday described the comments by CSEPNND as concocted schemes put together by the Nigerian government.

IPOB as well said the comments from CSEPNND were ridiculous and disgraceful.

In a press statement titled ‘Call For Kanu's Repatriation: An Attempt By A Criminally Complicit Government To Appear Relevant,’ dated Sunday, January 10, Powerful said the CSEPNND's release was a confirmation that Kanu had become a nightmare for the Nigerian government.

IPOB also dared the Nigerian government to ask the signatories of the purported group to hold a press briefing if they ever existed.
