About five policemen have allegedly lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident that occurred along Oba Ile Road, Akure, Ondo State on Tuesday.
AllNews gathered that the policemen were overspeeding while trying to negotiate at a sharp bend on the road.
It was also learnt that the victims were on their way to the airport when the accident occurred.
Meanwhile, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Tee-Leo Okoro confirmed the incident but claimed he had not ascertained the number of victims yet.

He added that he would visit the hospital where the victims were taken to ascertain the number of casualties.
