Mammoth crowds are usually recorded during campaigns, with some, hiding weapons
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has reminded politicians and their supporters of the dangers of hate speeches, and incitive words as they head to campaigns on Wednesday.
The Agency also noted that there's need for campaign with ideas, not political thugs.
The agency's Spokesman, Nuhu Garba Musa while speaking with allnews in Kano on Monday said there is need for politicians to guard their utterances.
The Spokesman also asked the politicians to desist from campaign rallies with weapon supporters or thugs.
He said the fragile peace must not be tampered with for selfish reasons.
Nuhu Garba Musa urged politicians to campaign with ideas, not violence, adding that only s peaceful people would ensure s governable country..
"Politicians must put Nigeria first, it is when there is peace that they can lead the country", he said.
He urged stakeholders to aid the agency in calling for peaceful rallies, and subsequently peaceful Elections in 2023.
