Fast-rising Nollywood actress Chiemeke Ngozi has been shot dead by unknown gunmen at Boji Boji Owa in Ika North East Local Government Council of Delta State.
According to The Guardian, the actress was killed along Deeper Life road in Boji Boji Owa town and sources in the area disclosed that they heard gunshots but before they could get to the scene, the gunmen had fled.
The reason behind the assassination remains unknown as of the time of filing this report but it was gathered that the corpse had been deposited at the mortuary.
Chiemeke Ngozi's death has thrown the entire community into mourning and confusion, and people have been spotted in groups talking about the tragedy.
The State Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the killing of the actress who was also a POS operator.
