Norrenberger Advisory Partners Limited Acquires International Energy Insurance Plc

In a move that started on May 31, 2021, International Energy Insurance Plc has finalized the process that transfers 100% equity ownership of its company to Norrenberger Advisory Partners Limited.

The company's management used the opportunity to inform the management of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the investing public of this change.

According to the company secretary, H.Micheal & Co., "International Energy Insurance Company Plc ("IEI or the Company") wishes to notify the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public that in its effort to meet the capitalization requirement as directed by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), the company has sought and obtained the "No Objection approval" of NAICOM for the acquisition of 100% of the equity of the company by Norrenberger Advisory Partners Limited ("Acquirer")."

However, the equity ownership transfer still awaits the approval of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection (FCCP) and the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC).
