NPFL: Osho Steps Down As Rivers United Assistant Coach

Fatai Osho has parted ways with defending champions Rivers United as their assistant coach.

He made the announcement on Monday via his social media

“I resign my position as the Chief Coach of Rivers United,” Osho posted on his Facebook page.

Best wishes to the team,” he added.

Osho joined Rivers United in August 2021 and played a key role in the club's success in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season.

Before joining the Pride of Rivers, he had a brief stint with the eight-time NPFL champions Enyimba.

But it was in 2018 that he came into the limelight after guiding Remo Stars to the NPFL from second tier Nigeria National League (NNL).
