NPFL: Victory Not Enough For Enyimba To Relent - Findi

The head coach of Enyimba, George Findi, has expressed that his side's emphatic win against Kwara United on Sunday is not enough to make them relent in the title race.

Findi's side defeated visiting Kwara United 3-0 at the Enyimba Stadium to record their second win of the season.

The host dominated the game from the get-go and were two goals up within 18 minutes.

Emeka Obioma opened the scoring in the 11th minute after he was played in by Sadiq Abubakar who drove upfield from the middle of the park.

Seven minutes later, Ademola Adebambo doubled the lead with his debut goal as he rifled a shot into the far corner after receiving a pass from Abubakar.

Then midway through the second-half Obioma got his brace, volleying Chibuike Nwaiwu’s dropped header into the near post following a corner kick.

“I think they did so well. We the coaching staff know this team is good is just for the boys to come to the party,” said an elated Finidi on the club's website.

“We are all happy. I must commend the boys for their good performance.

“We will not relent on our victory. We still have to get the job done.

"It was a big victory but there is a big task ahead of us.”
