In recognition of his good work and contribution towards African music, National Public Radio Music (NPR Music) has added Davido’s name to its Black History Month x Tiny Desk as a special guest.
Via NPR’s verified Twitter account it wrote, “This just in: We're excited to announce that Davido (@davido) has been added to the NPR Music's Black History Month x Tiny Desk lineup! #bhmxtdc.”

NPR Music is a project of National Public Radio, an American privately and publicly funded non-profit membership media organization, that launched in November 2007 to present public radio music programming and original editorial content for music discovery.

AllNews earlier reported that Davido finally dropped the music video for his song ‘The Best’ featuring DMW-signed artiste, Mayorkun on January 28.
The track is the 4th single off his ‘A Better Time’ album which was released on November 13, 2020. The 17-track album featured Nigerian hitmakers including Tiwa Savage, C Kay and Bella Shmurda.
Foreign artistes were not left out as Davido enlisted artists like Chris Brown, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Nas, Nicki Minaj and Hitboy. He also included African stars like Sho Madjozi, Sauti Sol and Mugeez.
