NSCDC Arrests 3 Suspected Bandits In Zamfara

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) has through the Public Relations Officer confirmed the arrest of 3 suspected bandits in Zamfara State.

The NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Igor Oche confirmed in a news conference that the suspects were arrested at the state mass transit motor park in Gusau on Monday.

He said in his statements ”The Police arrested one Tukur Halilu, a 27 years old who is from Gabaru Village, and two other suspects, Mr Hussaini Altine and Mr Abubakar Altine from Agamalafiya village."

”Although Abubakar Altine claims innocent while investigating, Hussaini confesses to belonging to the camp of notorious bandits."

He added that the suspects were under intensive investigation that could spark further arrest of more suspects in the state.

Bandits have been terrorizing the state for as long as Nigeria has been plagued by repeated bandits and terrorist attacks, especially in the North.
