NSCDC Arrests Seven For Removing, Selling Road Barricades In Imo

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested seven suspects for removing and selling road barricades in Imo state.

This was disclosed by the acting commandant of the corps in Imo state, Chukwuemeka Odimba on Wednesday while parading the suspects.

Odimba revealed that two of the suspects removed the barricades and sold them to the other five suspects.

He added that their arrest followed the intelligence report revealing their hideouts.

He further expressed displeasure over the activities of vandals in the state.

The commandant called on Nigerians to stay away from the act of destroying government properties, adding that the corps will not fold Its arms to activities of vandals while reiterating its commitment to discharge its constitutional duties.
