 NSCDC: Kano deploys 3,168 personnel for Eid-el-Kabir securi

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Kano State has mobilized 3,168 personnel to ensure safety and order during the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

The announcement was made by the Command's Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, on Friday.

According to Abdullahi, "The State Commandant, Mohammed Lawal Falala, has approved the deployment of 3,168 personnel to cover Eid-el-Kabir celebrations in Kano.

"These officers will collaborate closely with the Nigerian Police, DSS, FRSC, KAROTA, and other agencies to maintain law and order and ensure the smooth flow of traffic throughout the festive period."

Commandant Falala emphasized the importance of protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, urging all officers to be vigilant and proactive. 

He also appealed to the residents of Kano to cooperate with security agents and adhere to the law.

"The good people of Kano are hereby enjoined to cooperate with security agents, and obey law and order for peaceful Eid-el-Kabir celebrations in the state.”
