NSCDC Warns Petrol Marketers Selling Above Approved Price In

The Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Kano Command has expressed disappointment over how some petroleum marketers it described as ungrateful are illegally diverting premium motor spirit (PMS) meant to be sold at the approved 165 Naira per litre.

A statement signed by the command's spokesman, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, for the state commandant Adamu Idris Zakari described the act as illegal and amounting to economic sabotage.

The command, which stated that it would not tolerate the practice, added that it has since spread its intelligence network to fish out the culprits.

“…And if anybody is caught in this illegality they shall be made to face the full wrath of the law,” part of the statement reads.

The corps also commended marketers who sell the PMS at the approved price for their cooperation, and understanding, adding that the attitude of these patriotic marketers is worthy of emulation and therefore highly commendable.
