The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market closed with 3,568.00 deals on Thursday, March 11th, 2021, lower than the 4,437.00 deals on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021. The volume reached 169,354,003.00 units at the close of the market on Thursday lower than the 368,216,369.00 units it closed with on Wednesday.

The value of trades recorded on Thursday was N2,119,751,804.53 with the All-Share Index of 38,697.17 a decrease of -0.60% (-234.08) over Wednesday's value of 38,931.25

The stock market also ended with equity of N20.25 trillion capitalization on Thursday lower than the N20.37 trillion recorded on Wednesday

Top Five Gainers
SMUREFIT led the top gainers' chart after its stock price gained N0.02 to close trading at N0.22 kobo per share after opening the trading with N0.20 kobo per share, according to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market data seen by AllNews.

Int. Breweries was second on the chart, as its stock price gained NGN0.45 kobo to close the market with N5.00 kobo per share, having started trading with N4.55 kobo per share.

Champion been third on the gainers' list closed the market with NGN2.40 kobo per share from the opening price of N2.2 kobo per share which represents an increase of N0.2 kobo gain in the share price.

Royal Exchange takes the fourth spot, having closed the market with NGN0.02 kobo gain to end trading at N0.26 kobo per share from the opening share price of N0.24 kobo per share.

Livestock was last on the list after its share price gained NGN0.14 kobo to close trading at N2.25 kobo per share, having opened trade at N2.11 per share.

Top Five Losers
Afri Insurance tops the decliners' list today Thursday, March 11th, 2021, having begun trading at NGN0.24 kobo per share, only to drop in price by NGN-0.02 kobo to close at NGN0.22 kobo per share at the end of trading.

Sovrenins was second on the chart after closing at NGN0.28 kobo per share from its opening trade price of NGN0.28 kobo per share; this represents a drop of NGN-0.02 kobo.

M Benefit also recorded a drop in its share price as it declined by NGN-0.03 kobo to close trading at NGN0.39 kobo per share, below the NGN0.42 kobo per share it opened with.

UPL's share price fell by NGN-0.06 kobo as its share price closed trading at NGN1.16 kobo per share, lower than the NGN1.22 kobo per share it opened with.

Jaiz Bank completed the top five decliners chart after it closed trading with NGN0.65 kobo per share, losing NGN-0.06 kobo from the NGN0.68 kobo per share it opened trading with.

Top Five Trades
AllNews learnt that the top trade in the stock market for Thursday 11th March 2021 is AIICO which traded a volume of over 19.67 million units worth over N23.34 million.

UBA is the second on the list with a volume of over 16.24 million units worth over NGN113.24 million.

Third On the list is Zenith bank having traded with over 11.49 million units worth over NGN247.41 million.

Mansard was fourth on the most traded stock market list today, closing the market with over 10.47 million units traded at NGN10.32 million.

Jaiz Bank completes the top five list with over 9.45 million units traded at NGN6.06 Million.
