The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market closed with 3,578.00 deals on Friday, lower than the 3,656.00 deals it closed with on Thursday. 


The value of trades experiences an upside. it reaches NGN3.04 billion compare to the initial NGN2.64 billion it started with, while the All-share index inches up further with 39,301.82, 0.43 percent change on close of the weekly market.

Top Five Gainers
Tripple Gee and Company Plc
top gainer's list today April 23rd 2021, after its stock price gained 9.23 percent or 0.6kobo, to close trading at N0.71kobo per share according to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market data seen by AllNews.

Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc ranked second after its stock price gained 0.02Kobo or 8.70 percent from the N0.25kobo it ended with on close of market for the week.

Stanbic IBTC Plc ties on stock price percentage gain with Sovrenins, but with 4.00kobo to stand at N50.00kobo on close of Market activity.

Academy Press Plc came in fourth on the top gainers' list, after its share price gained 8.11 percent or 0.03kobo, to close the market at N0.40 kobo per share, having opened trading at N0.25Kobo per share.

Regency Assurance Plc, been fifth on the advancer's table, record a gain of 8.00 percent in its share price or 0.02kobo to close trading at N0.27 per share.

Top Five Losers
Union Dicon Salt Plc
topped the decliners' list for Friday, as the company's stock dropped by 9.59 percent, or 1.05kobo to close trading at N9.90kobo per share.

Linkage Assurance Plc came second on the list after its stock price dipped 4.76 percent or 0.04kobo to close trading at N0.80kobo per share.

Cornerstone Plc recorded a 3.70 percent drop in its market share price as it lost 0.02kobo to close at N0.52kobo per share.

FTN Cocoa Processors Plc's share price fell by 0.01kobo to record a 2.50 percent drop after its trade closes at N0.39kobo per share.

Northern Nig. Flour Mill Plc completed the list with an N0.05kobo loss or 0.83 percent to stand at N5.95kobo per share.

Top Five Trades
AllNews learned that the most traded in the stock market for Friday 23rd April 2021 was Access Bank Plc, having a trading volume of 46.79 million units valued at over N351.76 million.

Guaranty Trust Bank Plc came second on the list with a volume of 42.67 million units valued at over N1.33 million.

Third on the list is Linkage Assurance Plc having traded over 29.28 million units valued at N23.72 million.

FBN Holdings Plc was the fourth most traded stock today, closing the market with approximately N22.84 million units traded at a value of N169.95 million.

United Bank for Africa Plc completes the top five list with over 21.29 million units traded at a value of N158.88 million.
