NSE Market Data: Livestock Feeds Tops Gainers List As Trade

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market closed with 4,394 deals on Monday, March 29, 2021, lower than the 4,566 deals on Monday, March 29th, 2021. The volume reached 336,125,706 units at the close of the market on Tuesday.

The value of trades recorded on Tuesday tumbled to N3,268,817,643.90 from N10,650,886,581.94, bringing the All-Share Index down 226.26 points or 0.57% from Monday's 39,493.37 to 39,267.11.

Top Five Gainers
Livestock Feeds Plc
 led the top gainers' chart after its stock price gained 9.66 percent or 17kobo to close trading at N1.93 kobo per share according to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market data seen by AllNews.

Cornerstone Insurance Plc came second on the chart, as its stock price surged 9.09 percent or 5kobo, to close the market with N6.60 kobo per share, having started trading with 60kobo per share.

Courteville was tied on the second spot, adding to its win from yesterday to gain another 9.09 percent (or 2kobo) to close at 24kobo per share.

NPF Microfinance Bank gained 8.33 percent (15kobo) to be the fourth top advancer in the market today, closing at N1.95kobo per share.

Royal Exchange Plc was number five on the list as its share price gained 2 kobo, or 7.69percent to close trading at 28kobo per share.

Top Five Losers
Regency Assurance Plc
 topped the decliners' list for Tuesday, as the company's stock fell by 9.09 percent to close at 33kobo per share at the end of trading.

Prestige Assurance Plc came second on the list, closing at 41 kobo per share to post a loss of 8.89%

DAAR Communications Plc recorded an 8 percent drop as it lost 2 kobo to close at 23 kobo per share.

Ecobank Transnational Inc.'s share price fell by 25 kobo to record a 4.72 percent drop, as its share price closed trading at NGN5.05 kobo per share.

Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc completed the list after it closed trading with a 4.17 percent loss of 1kobo to stand at 23kobo per share.

Top Five Trades
AllNews learned that the most traded in the stock market for Tuesday 30th March 2021 is Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, having a trading volume of over 78 million units valued at over  N418.13 million.

Courteville is the second on the list with a volume of over 43.91 million units valued at over NGN10.53 million.

Third on the list is GT Bank having traded with over 28.97 million units valued at over N955.08 million.

Zenith Bank was the fourth most traded stock today, closing the market with almost N25 million units traded at NGN560.47 million.

Trancorp Hotels completes the top five list with 22.6 million units traded at NGN17.96 Million.
