NUC Aprroves Two Programmes In AUN

Two programmes have received approval to be introduced in the America University of Nigeria (AUN) Yola.

According to the President of AUN, Dr. Margee Ensign, the approval of B.Sc and M.Sc. degree programmes in Data Science and Analytics is to take effect from the 2021/2022 academic session.

The approval, according to the President, was made known in a letter dated May 11, 2022.

Ensign, speaking to members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of Adamawa State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), alongside the approval of the programmes, the NUC also authorised the introduction of hybrid (online)model learning option for postgraduate and professional courses offered by the institution.

“This will make it possible for candidates to choose to study for any of these professional Master’s programmes on a regular or on a hybrid model,” Ensign said.

She noted that the hybrid model would be made available first in  Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt before other cities.
