NURTW Crisis: MC Oluomo Out To Create Security Unrest

After the dissolution of the State Executives of the Lagos State National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) by the National Executives in Abuja; the former State Chairman, MC Olumo is reportedly set to invade the State Secretariat in Oko Oba with the aim of creating security unrest.

Information reaching the National Secretariat In Abuja is that loyalists of MC Olumo have concluded plans to storm the Union's Secretariat in Lagos on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in a bid to forcefully gain access to trigger security unrest with the police.

This act is said to be in continuation of his drive to cause havoc in the state after holding several meetings.

"The National Union of Road Transport Workers in Abuja wishes to alert the general public and the security apparatus in the state of this unfriendly act and to seek for immediate action towards keeping the Peace and Harmony been enjoyed in the State intent.

"The National Executives is also using the medium to inform the ever peaceful members of the union that there is no meeting at the secretariat and as such no one is expected at the Union House tomorrow", a statement on the development reads.
