NYSC Perimeter Fencing Commences In Kwara

Corp Members On Parade Ground

The Government of Kwara State has begun the construction of a perimeter fence at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp, located in Yikpata, Edu Local Government Area of the state.

Francisca Olaleye, the State's Coordinator of NYSC who inspected the first phase of the project expressed satisfaction with its headway.

Olaleye commended the State Governor, Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his friendliness and the support shown to the additional development of the scheme in Kwara state.

She said the absence of perimeter fencing had posed a principal challenge to sustaining sufficient security in the camp.

The Coordination noted that the 2022 Batch C Stream II Orientation Course officially opened on Wednesday,  November 30, 2022, with an expectation of 1,600 prospective corps members.

The approval for the immediate construction of that perimeter fencing was given by the State Governor in October
