Official: Arsenal Former Coach, Unai Emery Becomes Villarreal New Coach

The Arsenal former boss, Unai Emery has become Villarreal's new coach effective immediately after they sacked their coach, Javier Calleja. The Spaniard has been out of a job since sacked at Arsenal in November 2019 and now he seals a return to Spain to become the head coach of the yellow submarines.

The 48-year-old has a successful spell in Spain with Sevilla winning the Europa league 2 consecutive times and a record 3 times overall before he sealed a move to Paris Saint-Germain and he won everything in the french League expect the Champions League which led to him being sacked after 2 seasons.

Villarreal finished 5th on the table after the La Liga season wrapped up which gives them qualification for Europa League next year, and who better lead them if not Unai Emery.

AllNews believes the Spaniard is a big admirer of Dani Ceballos, with his loan spell ending at Arsenal, Villarreal, could opt to bring him to the Estadio de la Ceramica. The former PSG manager also will bring some tactical improvement, respect, and fire to the yellow submarines both locally in Spanish La Liga and internationally in the Europa next season.

The club expresses their joy on social media after the 48-year old signed a three year deal with them.
