Official: Eric Dier Has Been Handed A Suspension Of 4 Games

The English Defensive midfielder, Eric Dier, has been handed a match suspension up to 4 games coupled with £40,000 fined by FA for entering the crowd to confront a fan back in March before the coronavirus break.

The FA came down hard on the English player after 4 months had passed by the incidence which would leave the Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho livid with the decision.

Dier jumped into the stands after the match Norwich which ended in defeat for the white hart lane team, reports claimed Dier had spotted his brother in trouble up in the west stand so he climbed up the stand to defend his brother.

The Football Association had not shown any sympathy with the case with 4 matches including matches against Bournemouth, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Leicester City, before returning for the final game against Crystal.

Tottenham is in contention for at least a Europa League qualification as it stands on the log with 2 behind Arsenal, 4 behind Wolves, and 7 behind Manchester United. Dier is important to the Hotspur but they will have to resort to Ndombele, Winks, or Sissoko going forward.
