Official: Hakimi Achraf Joins Inter Milan

Inter Milan have completed the transfer of Moroccan international full-back, Hakimi Achraf from Real Madrid for an initial £40M plus bonuses which could rise to £45M,  making him the most expensive defender in the Italian club history.

The 21-year-old is one of Europe's most promising defender able to play in an attacking position while tracking back to offer cover. While at loan at Dortmund, the Real Madrid loanee scored 12 goals with 17 assists in 72 appearances.

He was part of the Real Madrid team that won the 3rd Champions league in a row during 2017-2018.

AllNews believes certain terms of the contract will involve being able to bring the defender back in the future which is not new to Spanish clubs with examples like Deulofeu Gerard (Barcelona), Memphis Depay (Manchester United), Mesut Ozil (Real Madrid), Nathan Ake (Chelsea), Yerry Mina (Barcelona).

The Buy-back clause has being regretted by clubs when such players turn world-class in the future and the clause was not inserted in the contract. Examples like Mou Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea), EPL teams mostly suffer this loss with the Spanish teams doing it most of the time when clubs come for their promising talents.

It is possible the same is done in the case of Hakimi Achraf and we could see the full-back in the white jersey in the future.
