Ogun Governor Abiodun Replies Tinubu’s Outburst

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has responded to comments made by a presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu that he made him governor of Ogun.

Tinubu had on Thursday boasted that he made President Muhammadu Buhari achieve his ambition in 2015.

He also said that he had already given up on President Buhari after he failed three times.

The former Lagos Governor disclosed this while meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates in Ogun State.

Tinubu on Thursday while addressing the delegates referred to Governor Abiodun as an ingrate, and claimed he made him become governor in 2019.

Governor Abiodun also reacted to Tinubu’s comment through his Facebook page.

"I am not an emperor by any chance and this is not my family inheritance.

“I am holding this position in trust for all the people of this state and I have vowed to be fair, just and equitable and this is the solemn agreement made between the Almighty God and myself", he said.
