The Police in Ogun State have arrested a man who killed his wife at Abeokuta Road in Ijebu-Ode.
They also revealed that the man whose name has been withheld is now in police custody at the state command, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Police sources disclosed that the deceased's family has been playing along with the suspect who killed the woman, telling him that his wife was not dead yet and still in hospital.
"Fortunately, he believed and after a lot of success in tracking him which didn't work out, he promised the deceased's brother that he would show up on Monday, 1st of May, thinking the deceased is still alive at hospital.
"He showed up on Monday and the deceased families met with him and told him to move to hospital.
"Unknown to him he was driven to the police station and the suspect has been transferred to state command Abeokuta."
