Ogunmodede Pens Emotional Message To Mark End Of 2022/23 NPL

Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede has penned an emotional message to mark the end of the 2022-23 Nigeria Premier League season.

The manager, in his message, expressed his satisfaction having led his side to a second place finish, behind champions Enyimba only on goal difference. 

"I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your immense contribution towards our success,” Ogunmodede told supporters of the Sky Blue Stars.

“Without your hard work, dedication, and unwavering support, we would not have been able to achieve our goals."

He also hailed his players for their spirited performances which earned them a spot in the CAF Champions League for the first time next season.

"To the players, I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you," the gaffer added. 

"You have shown tremendous commitment, determination, and grit throughout the season.

"Your hard work on the field, your willingness to learn and improve, and your unwavering team spirit have been nothing short of inspiring. 

"It is because of you that we were able to achieve our goals and make this a truly successful season."

Ogunmodede went further to appreciate the club's hierarchy, his family as well as coaching staff, amongst others for their enduring support and loyalty.

“To the president of the club, the CEO, the GM, my family, my assistants and my backroom staff, our management staff, media houses, including our supporters, and everyone who has cheered us on from the sidelines, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation,” he concluded.
