Okada Ban: How Lagos Riders Complied With Directive [Photos]

Okada Ban: How Lagos Riders Complied With Directive [Photos]

Following the implementation of the ban on commercial motorcycles (also known as Okada) in parts of Lagos, images have emerged showing full compliance with the directive.

The Lagos State Government announced previously that there was no going back on the ban which takes effect from Wednesday, June 1, and riders in the affected regions haven't disobeyed the order so far.

The pictures posted online are images of the Ojodu Berger area of Lagos and it shows only vehicles on roads known to be swarmed by Okada riders.

It may be too early to say but if things continue the way they currently stand, motorcycle riders plying the roads in the affected parts may soon be a thing of the past.

On the downside, commuters who have become used to boarding commercial motorcycles are now faced with the daily challenge of looking for an alternative means of transportation.
