Okada: Katsina Police Announces Reinforcement Of Ban

The Katsina Police Command has disclosed that the ban on motorcycle movements from 10 pm to 6 pm in the region will be reinforced by its officers.

The update was made known on Monday in a statement by the command’s spokesman, Gambo Isa.

According to Isa, the restriction in other local government Areas, especially the frontline areas, remains from 6 am to 6 am.

It also stated that the enforcement became necessary given the recent security threat from terrorists and criminals who make use of motorcycles.

"I am directed to draw the attention of the general public that the ban on the movement of motorcycles from 10p.m-6a.m in Katsina city is still in force.

“While in the frontline LGAs from 6 p.m to 6 a.m. It was temporarily lifted to ease movements during Ramadan", Isa disclosed.
