VIDEO: Oladips 'resurrects' from dead, praises 'deity'

Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji popularly known as Oladips, who was confirmed dead, has released proof that he is alive.

Oladips shared an Instagram story on his official page on Thursday, confirming he is not dead.

The rapper's management had made a post two weeks ago, disclosing that Oladips died after facing an undisclosed battle for two years.

However, the obituary post has since disappeared from the rapper's official Instagram page.

In a video captioned “Orisha bi Iya Kosi” (There is no deity like a mother), Oladips can be seen sitting outside a house with an elderly woman who seems to be pacing while dancing.

Apart from his dreads being completely cut off, the singer seemed healthy in the video.

The development comes after rumours that the rapper was alive two days after his obituary was posted by his management.

It was said that Oladips faked his death to promote his recently released album.

Celebrities such as Portable and Yomi Fabiyi have since reacted to the situation.
